Our class made videos to enter into a contest for flu prevention. The winners won some money, and someone from our own class ended up winning second place.
Even though my group didn't end up winning, I still have to post the link to our video.

i lyk skewl :D
The title of this here post is just a fun little jab to the face at what I believe to be the general intelligence of the people around me, but I suppose I wouldn't have much of a clue. Anyway, this post is about my utter stupidity, not that of others. I'm supposed to talk about a goal or success in my academic career.
Of course, knowing me, there is no success story to preach about. I would enjoy not failing a class for once in my life, but those are high hopes for someone as unbelievably lazy as I. I know my parents won't be looking at this, so I'm just gonna go ahead and cut this one short.

Priorities
Lately, we've been learning about investments. And apparently, at the ripe age of fourteen, I've become an actual investor thanks to some wonderful quiz in a little green book with a pig on it. No, I'm not learning to do complicated math equations, nor am I trying to remember how to write in cursive. I'm learning to invest, because my mom totally doesn't do that for me already. According to said wonderful quiz of doom, I am in fact a moderate risk taker, just like everyone else who sought the unending wisdom of the little green book.

Because School is Racist
Apparently it matters what my ethnicity is; unfortunately, I don't really recall, so I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say I'm American. That's not obvious or anything, really. I don't even know what I'm supposed to write here, but I think I'm supposed to add in a picture that I think goes with where I'm from. I'm sure that everyone will agree with this picture.

Cat Mouse Cliche
Once upon a time there was a mouse named Jimothy. Well, actually, he was a crocodile; he just looks like a mouse, because he's magic and stuff. So, anyway, he was running around being a furry swamp monster one day, when a cat showed up. It turns out that the cat was a dragon, so the two rabid beasts high-fived each other.
The end.
The end.

Curse You, Copyright!
People will sometimes put images in their blog posts to make it a little more interesting, or to try and make it catch your eye so you'll read it. A great place to get pictures from (without infringing copyright, that it) would be Flickr Creative Commons; a website a lot like Google images, but a lot of them allow you to use them without breaking any laws, so it's altogether better than Google images if you're willing to go the extra mile to avoid getting sued. You still need to add attribution, though; the best place to do that would be through a caption above or below the picture you're using.
