Why is it difficult to discuss money?

I honestly have no idea why we don't discuss money. Okay, maybe it's because it's viewed as 'impolite', but you could say the same for just about any i nteresting topic there is. Money doesn't define us, and it really doesn't matter much anyway; but maybe that's just what I think now because I'm only an eighth grader. So, in conclusion, I'd just like to say that I don't know, nor do I really care.

    You seem to have a mature way to look at this topic. To be at a point where you can state that $ doesn't define us is impressive. Maybe it's just because you're an eighth grader - but I don't think so. Sure, you'll need to discuss money as it affects you more directly. It looks like you're ready to keep it in perspective.
